ISLAMABAD, Aug 13 (APP): The two-day Independence Festival was commenced at F-9 Park, offering a historic and enchanting experience for people living in the federal capital.
The highlight of the event was Pakistan’s first-ever drone show, featuring 500 drones that simultaneously illuminated the sky with images of the Pakistani flag and other mesmerizing visuals. This spectacular display was a tribute to the love and spirit of Pakistan.
The festival, open to the public with free entry, provided families with a perfect opportunity to enjoy a memorable outing.
Various entertainment stalls and activities for children, along with food stalls offering a variety of delicious treats, added to the festive atmosphere.
A significant attraction of the celebration was the performances by some of the country’s most renowned artists, who captivated the audience with their talent.
The presence of Olympic gold medalist, Arshad Nadeem, further elevated the event’s prestige. His participation symbolized the remarkable achievements that Pakistan’s youth can attain for their nation.
At midnight on August 13, the sky over Islamabad lit up with a spectacular fireworks display, marking the climax of the celebrations.
